Teachers' Evaluations

By Laura Knoy on Tuesday, December 5, 2000.

School kids are used to constant assessment by their teachers--who then give out report cards on student achievement. But who evaluates the teachers? And what's that process like? We take a look at what it takes for teachers to earn an "A" in class, and at who should be involved in deciding. Laura's guests are Dennis Pope, Bedford School District Superintendent, and Jim Rust, president of the NH Chapter of the American Federation of Teachers.
