Next week the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) goes into effect amid controversy over a requirement that schools and public libraries install filtering software on computers. The American Library Association has filed suit against CIPA saying it's censorship. But supporters say CIPA protects children from pornography and other inappropriate websites.
