Sunapee's Master Clock Restorer

Steve Sanborn of Sunapee is the proprietor of Sanborn’s Antique Clocks, where he repairs and restores clocks of all ages and styles. Since childhood, he’s been fascinated by timepieces, and he was fortunate to be introduced to the trade in his boyhood. After a brief career in banking, he began working on clocks full-time. He gave John Walters a tour of his shop, and talked about his business.

Last Child Raised in Canterbury Shaker Village

On May 26th, when Canterbury Shaker Village celebrates "Family Memory Day," one of the participants will be Alberta Kirkpatrick. She was the last child brought into the community in 1929; she stayed until 1936 and now lives in Warren, Pennsylvania.
