Granny D and her trek for campaign finance reform

Doris Haddock, better known as ?Granny D,? lives in Dublin, NH. She walked across the United States to highlight the need for campaign finance reform. She?s still active in the reform effort; she?s just written a book, ?Granny D: Walking Across America in My 90th Year.? She talked about opinions on campaign financing, how she came up with the idea of walking across the country, and some of the difficulties she encountered on the road.

Helping promising students in the North Country

Todd Hall lives in Milan, in New Hampshire?s North Country. In his work, he tries to identify gifted high school students and offer them guidance and advice to help them go on to college. He talks the students he works with, and the challenges they face. He also talks about his decision to relocate to New Hampshire, after a career as an Episcopal priest.
