A Social Change in NH Baseball

By John Walters on Wednesday, October 16, 2002.

Steve Daly is the assistant sports editor at the Nashua Telegraph. He discusses minor league baseball in Nashua and his new book, "Dem Little Bums: The Nashua Dodgers," which chronicles the experiences of the first two black baseball players to ever play on a non-Negro League team. In the late 1940's, they played for the Nashua Dodgers, which was the farm team for the then Brooklyn Dodgers.
