Geology on the Afghan Border

Will Clyde is a geologist at the University of New Hampshire. His research is about a turning point in the story of evolution. As it happens, one of the best places to look for fossils is on Pakistan's border with Afghanistan. He had to cancel a research trip in the fall and he's not sure when he'll be able to go back. He talks about his research and his experiences in the many countries in which he's done field work.

The Legacy of Henry Fuller

A new exhibit of 19th century American paintings opened this weekend at The Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester. They�re from the personal collection of Henry Melville Fuller, who died last summer at the age of 87. The paintings were part of Fuller�s final gift to the museum. As NHPR�s Doug MacPherson reports, Henry Fuller was no ordinary benefactor.
