Will Clyde is a geologist at the University of New Hampshire. His research is about a turning point in the story of evolution. As it happens, one of the best places to look for fossils is on Pakistan's border with Afghanistan. He had to cancel a research trip in the fall and he's not sure when he'll be able to go back. He talks about his research and his experiences in the many countries in which he's done field work.
