India and Pakistan

They?re at odds again over the disputed territory of Kashmir, raising serious concerns about nuclear war. We?ll look at the history of these two nations, the origins of the tension, and what the U.S. role has traditionally been in the region. Laura?s joined by Sumit Ganguly, professor of Asian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin www.utexas.edu and author of several books on the region, including Conflict Unending: India-Pakistan Tensions Since 1947.
