The northeastern corner of Nova Scotia has produced a rich tradition of fiddle tunes and fiddlers, including a couple of people whose names might be familiar: Ashley MacIsaac and Natalie MacMaster. Some of the other great fiddlers from the area can be heard on a new album, "The Heart of Cape Breton." The CD was produced by Burt Feintuch, director of the Center for the Humanities at UNH. He recorded live performances along the Ceilidh Trail and wrote extensive liner notes.
