ArchivesThe Music of Cape BretonBy John Walters on Wednesday, July 10, 2002.The northeastern corner of Nova Scotia has produced a rich tradition of fiddle tunes and fiddlers, including a couple of people whose names might be familiar: Ashley MacIsaac and Natalie MacMaster. Some of the other great fiddlers from the area can be heard on a new album, "The Heart of Cape Breton." The CD was produced by Burt Feintuch, director of the Center for the Humanities at UNH.
