Afghanistan Two Years Later

By Laura Knoy on Tuesday, October 7, 2003.

Two years ago today U.S. forces invaded Afghanistan intent on hunting down Osama Bin Laden and striking a blow to the Taliban terrorist group. The terrorist network is scattered now, but Bin Laden is still on the loose. We'll look at how the war with Afghanistan stands today. Laura's guests are Wayne Lesperance, Assistant Professor of Political Science at New England College, and Eugene Gholz, Assistant Professor at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at the University of Kentucky.
