His primary interest is the music of the Middle East and re-creating the sounds and instruments of its early civilizations. He's composed music for a museum exhibit of Egyptian artifacts and produced a CD called "Ambient Egypt." We meet Doug, and sample some of his compositions and talk about his travels. |
