Waiting for Teddy Williams is Howard Frank Mosher's ninth book. It tells the coming-of-age story of a boy in Kingdom Common, Vermont, a town considered the spiritual home of the Red Sox. Everybody in the town follows the Sox, to the point that Kingdom Common is both a town both obsessed with the team and full of mystery regarding its history.
