Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

By John Walters on Wednesday, October 6, 2004.

Paul Lally has been the man behind the curtain for almost all of his life: Whether it was as a kid, providing the voices for the family pets, or as a producer, allowing two of Public Television's most beloved personalities to shine.

Paul has spent much of his career working with the talented Fred Rogers on Mr Roger's Neighborhood and Mary Ann Esposito on Ciao, Italia. But Paul is a talented personality in his own right.

For many years he hosted "The Gentle Giant" and other PBS programs for children. His gift for storytelling is captured in his newly re-released CD, A Fairy Tale Comforter for Children
