The 2004 "Kids Count" Data Book has just come out and New Hampshire did quite well, ranking among the top in almost area except for one? High School Dropouts. The report states that 9 percent of teens 16-19 in the Granite State have dropped out of schools in the past year, up 50% from five years ago. Other recent studies place the statewide dropout rate as high as a 25%. We'll look into what's behind these numbers and into how we can keep our kids in school.
