What started as a goofy college project developed into a wacky but educational magazine for kids. Meet Moo Cow. He's a stuffed animal that went off to college in the 1990’s with his owner, Becky Ances. Along the way he made many friends. Eventually, Becky started writing a newsletter to keep the fans and friends abreast of Moo Cow’s life. After college, Becky and her husband Ryan Wilson decided to broaden Moo Cow's audience. Today Moo Cow Fan Club is a full-blown magazine geared toward children ages 8 and up and it is getting a favorable reception from kids and educators alike. Recently, the magazine won the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association for Educational Publishers.
