Lebanon Prom Night Bus Irks Students

Sunapee Wants to Secede

Sunapee town officials want to secede from Sullivan County and join Merrimack County.
They say their tax burden in Sullivan County is unfair.

If they're successful, Sunapee would become the first town in the state's history to change counties.
But as New Hampshire Public Radio's Amy Quinton reports, most people say secession isn't likely.

AG Says House Energy Bill Hurts NH Action on MTBE

New Hampshire's Attorney General says the recently passed US House Energy bill will hurt the state's chances in court. Of specific concern is a provision in the bill that protects the manufacturers of the gasoline additive MTBE from liability lawsuits. New Hampshire Public Radio's Rebecca Kaufman has more.

Fishing for Fine Art

Matthew Smith is a printmaker and sculptor who eschewed a career as a commercial fisherman after seeing the results of overfishing around the world. He turned to art, as a way to draw connections to the natural world. His work can be seen at his new gallery, ?The Copper Canoe? in Exeter.
