Has Old Man Winter come too late – for the North Country? Sure, it’s cold this week, and at ski areas the man-made snow finally won’t melt, but North of the Notches, the economic pain of our snowless, warm winter is sharp – and leaders there are wondering how – and whether – they’ll be able to ride this season out.
