The New Hampshire Gardener's Companion

By Laura Knoy on Thursday, May 3, 2007.

Granite State Master Gardener Henry Homeyer has written a new book called "The New Hampshire Gardener's Companion: An Insider's Guide to Gardening in the Granite State". In it he explores everything from dealing with the short growing season to the best plants to grow in your area and where to get local resources, including seeds, tools and hands-on gardening assistance. Written for both the green thumb and the novice, Homeyer's book helps you to use the New Hampshire environment to your gardening advantage.
