Debi Warner en Democrat Woodburn Takes North Country's Senate Seat <p>Democrat Jeff Woodburn of Dalton has won the senate race in the North Country, according to a tally compiled by the Associated Press.</p><p>With 90 percent of the precincts reporting Woodburn had 13,664 votes.</p><p>That compared to 9,071 for Republican Debi Warner of Littleton.</p><p>The senate seat was vacated by Republican John Gallus of Berlin who chose not to seek re-election.</p> Wed, 07 Nov 2012 05:58:37 +0000 Chris Jensen 16380 at Democrat Woodburn Takes North Country's Senate Seat Debi Warner: Republican Candidate For Gallus' Senatorial Seat <p>Debi Warner, a clinical psychologist from Littleton, is running for the seat being vacated by Sen. John Gallus, a Republican from Berlin.</p><p>So far Warner&nbsp;is the only Republican running.</p><p>Warner got her doctorate in clinical psychology from Bowling Green State University.</p><p>She&rsquo;s been in private practice in Coos and Grafton Counties and previously worked for a non-profit family clinic as well as state agencies in New York and New Hampshire.</p><p>Gallus told NHPR he doesn&rsquo;t plan to endorse any candidate until after the September primary.</p> Thu, 31 May 2012 13:40:37 +0000 Chris Jensen 5889 at
