We're still two years away from the next Presidential election and the politicking has already begun. Several notable candidates from both parties have already declared and several more are expected to declare their intentions very soon. Among the names mentioned on the Democratic side: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and the just announced John Edwards, while notable Republicans include John McCain, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. We'll look at who the players are, including some of the lesser known candidates, why the campaign for the presidency has started so early this cycle and what we can expect to see over the next year or two as we approach the 2008 presidential election. Laura's guests are James Pindell, Political Correspondent for the Boston Globe, and Jen Donahue, Senior Advisor for Politics at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College.
