Wind power projects are springing up all over the state of Maine.

But one project in Aroostook County is set to become the first utility-grade wind farm in New England.

Developers say the 28 wind turbines scattered along the ridge of Mars Hill should all be on line by the end of this month.

Maine Public Radio's Sara Nics recently stopped by the town of Mars Hill to visit the wind farm and hear what nearby residents think of it.
