The path that the United States is currently taking in regards to Iran will inevitably lead to war and would be a bigger mistake than engaging in the war in Iraq. So says Scott Ritter, former United Nations weapons inspector and author of a new book called Target Iran: The Truth About the White House’s Plans for Regime Change. Ritter is in New Hampshire this week speaking at several events in conjunction with New Hampshire Peace Action.

I truly appreciated the

I truly appreciated the interview today with Laura and Scott Ritter. It sounded as if Scott was asking the American public to speak up and challenge the current direction our governemnt is taking, especially regarding Iran.
I believe it is not that many Americans don't care, I think it is a case of feeling hopeless and disempowered. A sense of apathy, who sill listen anyway?
I wanted to get on the air this morning to let people know you can have a voice and we can change the direction of our great nation.
I am a military mom and am working tirelessly to support the campaign to establish a cabinet level U.S. Department of Peace and Non-Violence. There is currently a bill in the House, H.R. 808, calling for a U.S.Department of Peace and Non-Violence which would augment our current problem-solving modalities, provide practical, nonviolent solutions to problems of domestic adn international conflict.
Violence is not just a international issue, it is a public health crisis here in America.
There is hope . . .the legislation WILL PASS from bill to law under one condition:that a wave of citizen interest rise up from the American people and make itself heard in the halls of Congress. I call on MOTHERS everywhere to join me . . . find out more www.NHDeptofPeace.com and www.ThePeaceAlliance.org
