My experience with geothermal heat in Hanover isn't so rosy. The ground temperature is so close to the 45F system operating limit that over time the resource depleted beyond functioning. It is (or was at the time of installation) impermissible to pump water back into the ground, so the heat-pump technique used up groundwater, too. We wonder whether our system was the cause for a nearby well running dry.
