September's a big month for new cd releases, so NPR's Bob Boilen will review a broad selection of songs and pieces that didn't get lots of air play this year. We'll hear tunes from LCD Soundsystem, Amy Winehouse, Patty Griffin, Roky Erickson and other artists that somehow fell betwen the cracks.

I enjoyed The Front Porch very much this evening. You did the All Songs Considered Show. This was one of the best half hours I have spent in at least two weeks. Here's my objection: at the end of the show NHPR went out -- not with the song the show's hosts previewed -- the show went out with Roger Parmly saying these are all the DAMNED stations of NHPR!
Please don't put great programming on just to have it stepped on by the ridiculous nature of your oclock existence. THank You, Gregory Devlin.
