Every year my family begins the Christmas season with a celebration of the Feast of St. Nicholas in mid-December. As kids, my sisters and I received the bulk of our presents at this time, when, as legend has it, St. Nicholas leaves gifts under children's beds or in their shoes overnight. I hope your holiday season this year is as full of wonder and excitement as ours was growing up. Best wishes for a healthy, happy new year!
