Presidential candidates and their supporters in New ampshire spent the day yesterday drumming up last minute support around the state.
As NHPR's Shannon Mullen reports, they also got some help from out of state.
The scene on Main Street in downtown Concord Monday looked, and sounded, more like a protest rally than Primary eve.
Passing drivers honked their horns at curbside campaigners for every candidate, and it was hard to tell who was honking and shouting for whom. Residents of Arkansas, West Virginia, New York, Rhode Island, and many other states lined the sidewalks, hoping to influence Granite State voters.
Some college students visiting from Iowa said that the Primary show here is much more colorful than their state's tamer caucuses. And even though Concord is the capital, many New Hampshire residents agreed that this year's show is bigger and louder than ever.
For NHPR News, I'm Shannon Mullen.
