What's the best video you've seen online lately?

By Andrew Walsh on Monday, January 7, 2008.

Word of Mouth can't exist without your input! A big part of our radio show and this blog is to get people sharing ideas and suggestions. We want to know what your listening to on your iPod, what you're watching on TV, which books you're picking up, which recipes you're trying out, and all kinds of things like that.

To get the conversation going, we're adding the "You Tell Us!" section to the website. Every so often, we'll post a question to you. Send us links, send us lists, and send them now! We'll use these suggestions to fuel the radio show.

We wanted to get the ball rolling with an easy one: Send us links to some of your favorite online videos.

I’ll get the ball rolling with some of my own personal favs:

Here's the band Of Montreal performing David Bowie's "Star Man". Click here to watch.

Our former intern, Colin, sent me this clip of Anna Karina dancing in the Goddard film Vivre Sa Vie. Click Here to watch.

Fania All Stars play San Juan; Geraldo slaps five (1974).

Oh my! Can I post another one?

Tom Cruise's testimonial for The Church of Scientology which was pulled off of You Tube last week is now on Defamer. He,seems to be, uh, a bit unglued. I've already seen samples and mash-ups of his eerie final laugh.

My favorite online video is this animation of the history of art seen through female portraiture:

The world of competitive bodybuilding offers some grins:

Every fitness center has colorful characters - I guess I have to stop myself from laughing at this dude, because Lord knows I'm probably guilty of "bad form" (and fashion, too) in the gym. But he could really get hurt:
