Contribute $50 or more to New Hampshire Public Radio, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win one of four great prizes. Odds of winning are based on the number of individuals contributing. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of New Hampshire and Vermont, 18 or older. Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 am on June 2, 2008 and ends at 12:00 pm on August 2, 2008. All times referenced for the NHPR Summer Car Raffle are Eastern Time.
ELIGIBILITY: Employees of New Hampshire Public Radio and their immediate family members are ineligible.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing through the utilization of random.org on August 2, 2008 and announced around 6:00pm on the 2nd of August. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of NHPR and will not be returned. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email. If potential winner cannot be reached after 10 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected by random drawing.
EARLY BIRD DRAWING: Enter by June 28, 2008 and you’ll qualify for an early-bird drawing for a $2,000 gas card. Participants in the early-bird drawing are automatically entered in the grand prizes drawings. Winner of the gas card will be announced around 6pm on June 28, 2008.
PRIZES: Grand prize is a Toyota Prius Hybrid (value: $24,000). Second prize is a Vespa LX50 Scooter donated by Great Bay Motorcycles/Vespa North Hampton (value: $3,899). Third prize is Giant Tran Send LX Bicycle donated by S & W Sports of Concord (value: $600). NHPR reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value in the event of the unavailability of a prize.
GENERAL: By entering the contest, participants agree that New Hampshire Public Radio, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the contest. Prizes must be taken within two months from the date of award. Contributions are not tax deductible. Prizes are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. No substitutions for a prize. New Hampshire Public Radio may use winner’s name and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation.
TAX OBLIGATIONS: All appropriate taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the winner's responsibility. For any prize valued at $600 or more, an IRS form 1099 with the above stated value will be sent at year-end.
RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the NHPR Drawing, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges.
