Veterans Group Organizes For Sununu

The Republican Senator says he's proud to have worked on legislation that supports them.

On healthcare, Sununu says he's pushing to get the Manchester VA hospital to again be a full service facility.

And he says he's worked to get a Veterans Center opened in Berlin with another on the way in Keene.

"This creates an opportunity for veterans who aren't in the Manchester area to get access to psychiatric screening, to claims adjudication and to other veterans services that they need."

Sununu's campaign says the Senator has more veterans supporting him than any other New Hampshire candidate.

That is not to say there are no veterans supporting Sununu's Democratic rival, former Governor Jeanne Shaheen.

Her group is simply smaller than the one supporting Senator Sununu.
