Inspired By Kaddish
By Andrew Walsh on Sunday, October 19, 2008.
Last May, New Hampshire composer Larry Siegel debuted a brand new piece of music that looked back on the atrocities of World War II and honored the victims of the Holocaust. His piece is called Kaddish, and Keene State’s Cohen Center for Holocaust Studies commissioned the work to mark its 25th anniversary. (Click here to listen to the Word of Mouth interview with Larry about the project and to hear some samples.)
The new project includes performances by KSC students and faculty, and it takes place November 1 at 7:30 pm at the school’s Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond. Click here for more information.
