An Evening With Jamie Tarabay

By Virginia Prescott on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.

Today on Word of Mouth, we’re listening back to excerpts from "An Evening with Jamie Tarabay," one of a series of conversations with public radio personalities.

NPR foreign correspondent Jamie Tarabay is Australian born and Lebanese by heritage. Her extensive credentials as a reporter include five years in Iraq, two as Bagdhad Bureau Chief for NPR.

She joined Virginia onstage at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester for a rare chance to hear firsthand about the experience of one of the world’s few female reporters on the front lines.
