Speaking in Code

Electronic music has a large and global fan base. But mention the word “techno” in the United States and you might just get an eye-roll in return. Many Americans think that techno music is all about excessive drug use or trashy clubs. But our guest Amy Grill says that these are false stereotypes. Her documentary Speaking in Code, which premiers April 23 at the Somerville Theater in Cambridge, Mass., aims to debunk some of these myths.
