Here's What's Awesome: Giant Stuff, Drag Racing the Police

World's Largest Ketchup Bottle

Did you know that New Hampshire's school awesomeness rate - that is, the rate of students being able to find awesome links - has gone up 23% since the launch of Here's What's Awesome? Statistics don't lie - together, we're making a difference.

Not just limited to balls of twine or Lily Tomlin's rocking chair
There's a foosball table that can accommodate 44 players. There's also a 13 foot tall arcade game, a 10 foot long rifle and, as we see to the right, a catsup bottle in Illinois that's 170 feet tall. Why these exist I don't quite know, but I do know that browsing through Now That's Nifty's World's Largest Stuff gallery will make your existence that much more fun. [via PreSurfer]

They got a thing that's called radar love
If Southern Florida police can't beat the drag racers, they join 'em? Once a month the Miama area's finest hold Beat the Heat, where you can let out your need for speed by racing a police car. Officers say street racing has gone way down since starting Beat the Heat. And it'll probably continue that way, so long as Elwood Blues doesn't show up for a race. [Neatorama]

"I told you I was ill"
That's actually on the tombstone of British comedian Spike Milligan, albeit in Gaelic. LOLGraves collects real and imagined funny epitaphs. My favorite: "In loving memory of Daniel Flynne... Dan found the only wrong way to eat a Reese's." [via Tomorrow Museum]

Now it's your turn: share an awesome link in the comments. We'll be measuring each one to see if any is the world's largest awesome link.
