Mario Andretti is one of the great names in auto racing, but it was a long road to the top. He was born in World War II Italy and his family spent years as refugees. He overcame those obstacles to have a brilliant carreer. His story is told in pictures and words in a new book, "Mario Andretti," by veteran racing journalist Gordon Kirby, who lives here in New Hampshire.
