Treating Cancer With Light

Doctors and scientists tirelessly search for new ways to treat cancer in humans, and researchers at the Royal Free Hospital in London are now harnessing light to detect and combat breast cancer. Dr. Mohammed Keshtgar has been pioneering some of these new techniques. He presented his research to the Royal Society’s annual summer science exhibition in London.
