listen: No audio currently available. Order on CD (pdf).
Much of Manchester's history is intertwined with the Quebecois who came to New Hampshire to work in the mills. They were some of Manchesters first immigrants. We discuss their history with Francoise Elise, executive director of the Centre Franco-Americain, explore what Franco-American culture is still evident in the city, and the role of the Centre Franco-Americain in both documenting and promoting the culture.
