Jazzing Up The Nutcracker

Drika Overton is a tap dancer and choreographer from the Seacoast. She teaches tap and percussive dancing and she's an expert on the history of the art form. She's the creator of the Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival, and "Clara's Dream," a jazz-and-tap setting of the Nutcracker. "Clara's Dream" is being performed this weekend in Portsmouth.
