Novels, Potato Soup, and Salt

Portsmouth resident Tery Farish began her career as a novelist, but has recently begun to explore other genres. Her new book, The Cat Who Loved Potato Soup, is a children's picture book about an old man and his cat. She is also teaching non-fiction writing at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. In her latest project, she is gathering stories of the Sudanese immigrants in Maine.
