Alpha Loft, a nonprofit startup incubator with offices in three New Hampshire cities, is now accepting applications for a free, 10 week startup "school."
The announcement marks the beginning of a new phase of educational programs from Alpha Loft, a startup incubator specializing in technology. They have offices in Manchester, Durham and Portsmouth.
Joshua Cyr runs the programs at Alpha Loft. He says the “Startup Fundamentals” course is a jumping-off point for the startup novice. "They’ve got a great idea for a new company, a new startup," Cyr says, "and they are wondering how do I get started?"
The course follows a statewide initiative called “Live Free and Start,” announced by Governor Maggie Hassan last month.
Alpha Loft’s sponsors include UNH and USNH. Classes begin in September.
