Ceremony Slated For N.H. Veterans Cemetery; Parades Cancelled In Manchester, Nashua

A ceremony will be held at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery Wednesday morning to honor those who have served the country.

Gov. Maggie Hassan and other elected officials are expected to speak at Veterans Day event, which gets underway at 11.

Rain has forced the cancellation of some events.

Manchester will not hold its annual Veterans Day parade Wednesday.

Nashua also cancelled its parade. The city will instead host a short ceremony at Elm Street Middle School.

Several presidential candidates will be in New Hampshire on this Veterans Day.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is scheduled to take part in a Veterans Day parade and ceremony in Lebanon.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz will host a veterans and military town hall meeting at the VFW in Kingston.

And South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham will take part in a vigil at the Franklin VFW.
