Derry Golfer Set To Tee Off At U.S. Open

A Derry man will tee off Thursday in the 115th U.S. Open Championship.

Rich Berberian Jr., the reigning New England PGA Champion, earned a spot in the U.S. Open at a sectional qualifier in Purchase, New York.

Berberian works as a golf instructor at the Windham Country Club.

He’s set to tee off just after noon at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington.
