Police say a bicyclist was killed in Rochester in a hit-and-run incident early this morning.
WMUR reports the accident happened around 12:30 this morning, near the on-ramp of Route 16 South.
Officers found the man on the side road, with his damaged bicycle nearby.
Officer also found debris from the vehicle believed to have struck the bicyclist. Police say it was a green, older-model Dodge Ram pickup truck from the late 1990s or early 2000s. The vehicle is likely to have sustained significant damage to its front end and is missing a headlight.
Police have not released the victim’s identity.
