The Monadnock Folklore Society announces the revival of their English Country Dance series with the theme “Dance Around Monadnock.” From February through May, there will be an English Country Dance each month in a different location around the Monadnock region.

On February 17 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM., the series begins at the Historical Society of Cheshire County, 246 Main St., Keene, with Mary Jones of Turners Falls, MA teaching dances that will appeal to all, from novice to experienced dancers. Lovely music will be provided by Carol Compton on keyboard and recorder, and Thal Aylward on violin and viola.

Kate has been hosting The Folk Show since 1995. In addition to her studio work, Kate emcees festivals and concerts throughout the Northeast.
