Former Ambassador Shares Lessons On Ebola

Ebola may have recently arrived in West Africa, but it’s not new to the continent. Former U.S. Ambassador Robin Sanders was serving in the Republic of Congo during an outbreak of Ebola in 2002-2003, and witnessed much of the work that went into combating it then.

She joins Here & Now’s Robin Young to discuss how population density has affected the current outbreak and how the international community can aid local governments and leaders in fighting the disease.
