With the clock ticking toward a June 30 deadline, Greece has put forward a new plan to break the impasse over its financial crisis. European financial leaders say they’re cautiously optimistic about the plan, but say they need more time to evaluate the proposal before they can vote on it.
Greek traders responded positively to the news, with Greek bank stocks up 20 percent at the close today. Is this the deal that could salvage Greece’s place in the Eurozone? Jill Schlesinger of CBS News joins Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson with details.
