Today is the 42nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision guaranteeing a woman’s right to an abortion. Thousands of anti-abortion activists have gathered in Washington for an anti-Roe v. Wade demonstration.
Meanwhile, House Republicans are proposing legislation to chip away at abortion rights, but a bill initially planned for a vote today fell through last night, when women Republicans objected to rape exception language.
