Brett Markhamis an engineer and third generation farmer in New Ipswich, New Hampshire. Two years ago, he published Minifarming: Self-sufficiency on ¼ Acre, a guide for practiced and aspiring gardeners. With no media push or fanfare, the book is still wait-listed on Amazon, and sells like crazy. A new edition, which incorporates reader responses and questions, came out in May, and he’s here to talk us through some suggestions for getting started on a back…or front-yard…garden.
