New Hampshire has 50 new Americans calling it home as of today. They were sworn in as new citizens at a ceremony in Manchester Wednesday, representing 27 nations. This is the fifth year for this annual naturalization ceremony.

Manuel Sanchez, from the Dominican Republic, is one of the new citizens.

"This means a lot you know? Finally becoming a citizen is what I wanted since I came here. I'm finally moving forward."

The new Americans took an oath of allegiance and were then presented with certificates of citizenship.
