N.H. Voters OK Two Constitutional Amendments

Allegra Boverman for NHPR

New Hampshire voters have approved two changes to the state constitution Tuesday. The first amendment gives individual taxpayers the legal standing necessary to bring a lawsuit against the government if they believe public funds are being misused.

The second amendment adds language to the constitution that says individuals have the right to live free from government intrusion. It impacts how personal data can be shared or obtained.

Each measure cleared the two-thirds majority required for a constitutional amendment.
