LENTEN MUSIC SERIES, LITTLETON
Thursday March 19 and 26 noon at All Saint’s Episcopal Church, 35 School Street. The concerts are offered by local musicians and singers for a reflective forty-minute interlude in your day. JEAN’S TEENS THEATRE GROUP PRESENTS JUST SO STORIES, LINCOLN

Jean’s Teens and Lin-Wood Public School present Rudyard Kipling’s fantastical tales, adapted by the author of last year’s STINKY CHEESE MAN. Discover such time-old lessons as How the Whale Got His Throat, How the Camel Got His Hump, How the Leopard Got His Spots, and How the Alphabet Was Made. Jean’s Teens is a theater-based youth development program for North Country pre-teens and teens. This professional-level theater education program offers area youth the opportunity to build their self-confidence, learn new skills, create a sense of team, and participate in plays and musicals with their peers. Productions rehearse and perform at Jean’s Playhouse each spring and fall. ACT INVITES DISCUSSION ABOUT FORMING A HUNTING POLICY, FRANCONIA

As the North Country’s regional lands conservancy, the Ammonoosuc Conservation Trust (ACT) is committed to having the public enjoy the land we own in as many ways as possible. Of the properties that ACT owns outright, most are permanently open for hunting. ACT is beginning the process of developing a hunting policy for our other lands. Join us to participate in this discussion. ACT Executive Director Rebecca Brown, Grafton County Forester David Falkenham, and Bob Mancini of the N.H. Fish & Game Dept. are all hunters and will facilitate the discussion. This event is free and open to the public. WHITE MOUNTAINS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS SKI SOCIAL, CANNON MOUNTAIN
Wednesday March 25 Cannon Mountain Ski Area. The White Mountain Young Professionals group invites professionals already in the workforce and students soon to join, ages 40 and under. This Ski Social & Networking Day will give attendees an opportunity to network, engage in very meaningful and practical discussions about opportunity in the region, and take advantage of one of the opportunities we have in the White Mountains for skiing and snowboarding. For a limited time, tickets are $25 per person and include a mountain lift ticket, lunch, and young professional focused discussion.

BATH LIBRARY BOOK CLUB DISCUSSES “LAKE PEOPLE”
Thursday April 9 6:00 PM Bath Public Library. “Lake People” by Abi Maxwell is the story of Alice Thornton, who is found as an infant abandoned in a canoe. Adopted by a young childless couple, Alice is raised with no knowledge of her family’s history, especially that of her strong female forebears who hold a special place in the history of their small town of Kettleborough, NH. Books may be picked up at the Bath Library; hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am to noon and 1:00pm to 6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am to noon.
